Temple Sinai whose strong roots, traditions and integrity are displayed and practiced in enriching the lives of our congregational family, Jewish community and the community in which we live. We believe we must reach upward to the heavens above to give us the resolve to reach our community and make sure no Jew is left behind. Temple Sinai provides moving, enjoyable services to satisfy your spiritual needs. Friday Night Shabbat Services, 7:30 p.m. Join us in celebrating Shabbat through song and prayer, led by Rabbi Malcolm Cohen. Music brings these songs and prayers to life. Congregants, Rabbi and Cantorial soloists join together each Friday evening from candle lighting through the blessing over the challah and wine. The Oneg immediately follows each Friday night Service, as congregants, new members and visitors to our community enjoy some schmoozing and noshing time. Temple Sinai also has Tot Shabbats the first Friday evening of every month from 6:45pm - 7:15pm, before 7:30pm worship services. Tot Shabbat services are perfect for small children and their families. Our service provides a wonderful way for grandparents, parents and children of all ages to enjoy welcoming Shabbat in a kid-friendly atmosphere. For the very youngest kids in the congregation, Tot Shabbat helps develop a love of Torah and for the synagogue. Spirited musical Shabbat services are held the second and fourth Friday of every month at 7:30pm featuring the "Sinai Chai Notes" musical ensemble, which includes Irv Weinberger, Elizabeth Bricker, Kayti Ellis, Kate Harris and John Plows.
