Bereavement Committee and Grief Support Group

Grief is a natural response that deserves healing.

The Bereavement Committee was formed to assist and give comfort to the families of Temple Sinai. Following the death of a loved one, a member of the committee meets with the family/acquaintances to help with shiva for those who sit right after services. Contact the office at info@templesinailv.org if you would like to volunteer.

The Bereavement Group meets on the 1st and 3rd Tuesday mornings of each month from 10 to 11:30 AM at Temple Sinai. Everyone is welcome, regardless of religion. Lunch and dinner gatherings are also part of the program. Contact Myrna Brown at myrnabrown@cox.net.

Sinai Connections (Temple Youth Groups) and
Religious School Family Association (RSFA)

In addition to the traditional classroom setting, Temple Sinai's Mark L. Haberkorn Religious School offers a diverse array of informal and social programs designed to enrich the student experience. We have divided Sinai Connections into three student cohorts: 3rd-5th Grade, 6th-8th Grade, and 8th-12th Grade. These youth groups provide students with a chance to engage with peers and mentors in a supportive environment.

he Religious School Family Association (RSFA) is a dedicated group of parents, guardians, and adult volunteers who work together to enrich our students’ learning experiences at Temple Sinai. The RSFA is always looking for more volunteers to make a lasting and meaningful impact for our students and future generations.
